Ann Grieve

Over the past 56 years I have worked in a variety of areas including city, regional and rural hospitals and in Papua New Guinea – all interesting and different.

During the same period I have managed to complete a Graduate Diploma and two degrees.

I joined the NSW Midwives Association in1980 on my return from PNG. I have held all the Office Bearer positions in the Association with the exception of Treasurer, and at the same time represented NSW on the National Executive (forerunner of the Board). I have also been a member of the Board of Directors.

I can’t remember when I joined the NSW History and Archives Committee, but I have been involved with it for an extended period. My particular interest is the acquisition and preservation of artefacts and ephemera and working toward the digitisation of the historical material so that it is accessible to the membership.
